These instruments are controlled from a console directly next to the patient, providing a magnified view of the surgical site.
Robotic surgery offers patients:
- Fewer complications
- Less harm to surrounding tissue
- Less postoperative pain
- Quicker recuperation
- Reduced blood loss
- Reduced scarring
- Shorter hospital stays
We offer the following procedures using robot-assisted surgery:
- Drainage of pleural effusion
- Lung biopsy, including robot-assisted broncoscopy
