Our team of primary care providers at Appomattox River Primary Care offers care for patients of all ages. We specialize in family medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine and have two convenient locations in the Tri-cities to provide care to for the whole family in Colonial Heights and Hopewell.

We offer comprehensive care through evidence-based medicine for the treatment of acute and chronic conditions as well as preventative care.

Our services

We provide the following services:

• Sick visits such as sore throats, flu, colds, urinary tract infections, etc.
• Chronic disease management including diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, etc.
• Immunizations for flu, hepatitis A & B, pneumonia, Tdap, etc.
• Physical exams including annual checkups, school and sports physicals, and pre-op consultations
• Well-child visits
• Minor procedures such as skin tags, drainage of abscesses, joint injections
• Treatment of minor injuries
• Onsite lab

We ask that you please bring the following to your appointment:

• Health insurance card
• Valid government issued photo identification (i.e. driver’s license)
• Copies of medical records from other facilities since your last visit with us
• Current medications list
• Co-payment as required by your insurance provider or other payments that may be needed
